Happy New Year!

I have to say....more than any other year I have lived....I was so happy and thankful to say goodbye to 2006! What a whirlwind year. Very busy towards the end of the year....we went up to Reno for Christmas and in the time frame of 3 days we had six family gatherings that we either attended or hosted and all included food, family and Christmas gifts! It was exhausting but wonderful. My sister Mo was in town which was totally awesome because we miss her so much and she ended up coming back to Las Vegas with us to ring in the new year! We really enjoyed Reno and the kids (although all too spoiled) had so much fun seeing all the relatives, going ice skating, seeing a movie and just taking in all of the wonderful warmth and love of Christmas with family. With the holidays behind us we are ready and excited for what 2007 has in store for us. Back to school, activities starting and goals of eating smarter and exercising regularly are what we have embraced so far. This week included Molly losing both of her front teeth. They have both been lose for quite some time. When she was on the trampoline...the neighbor accidentally kicked the first one out and as she watched herself bleed and cry in the bathroom mirror...she decided to yank out the other one. Nothing has been better than trying to understand her talking through her "gap". Jeffrey will turn 9 on Wednesday and for six months has looked forward to what he gets to do to celebrate. He will fly up to Reno and go on a two day hunting trip with Grandpa Pat in the chilling likes of Winnemucca. He gets in full "camo" attire every day just to make sure I know what he will be wearing for his upcoming adventure. So far 2007 has been adventurous enough for me just with cleaning out my house.....about ten black bags full so far. It feels so good to get back to basics and get rid of all of the "stuff" that so easily accumulates. Love to all....until next time!
