Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday to Mo, Happy New year, Happy Birthday to Jeffrey, Daddy daughter day at Hoover Dam, Ellie's riding her big bike without training wheels....so many important events and not one blog. Well....I am just as busy as the normal chaotic woman, mother, wife, friend etc.. Christmas '07 was our first Christmas spent in our home. It was great. I have to admit as much as I feared it...everything turned out wonderful. The downside of course...I am, by nature, a procrastinator who has yet to mail two more boxes of '07 Christmas gifts off. Good grief!!! I have been working more than I ever have in my life...but it has been great. God has truly blessed me with new massage clients and His timing couldn't have been more perfect. Michael has been so awesome about taking care of the kids on the nights that I work; doing homework with them, making their lunches, and doing laundry!!!!! My awesome friend Jessica Baldwin has helped out so much with having Ellie after preschool 2-3 days a week, feeding her, giving her naps and loving on her. My mother in law helps us on her day off too which is also great. I am so thankful that right now when I need to be so busy with work, God has provided safe, loving care for my children. I don't know how else I could do it and feel good about it. The kids had their two weeks off at Christmas and then went back to school for two and a half weeks. Now....THEY ARE ON TRACK BREAK FOR 4 WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is the world coming to? Luckily...I, again, have family and friends who are going to help! The kids are getting ready to go to Sacramento for a couple days for a visit with their best friends the Cross kids! Then it's off to Reno where they will bounce around to family and friends in hopes that there will be enough bouncing that everyone will get a nice visit and won't feel burdened by my traveling three ring circus. All and all we are all happy and healthy and thankful for our lives! I wanted to have a goal in 2008 of blogging at least once a week. So.....because of the natural procrastinator in me...that starts now!
Christmas at home....yes molly has blue and pink hair. love that gift.
Michael took the girls to Hoover Dam over Christmas break (and let them dress themselves)
They loved having a fun daddy day!
It's now her MOST favorite thing to do ALL THE TIME!
Jeffrey's birthday: 2 friends to sleep over, pizza, movies, homemade hot fudge sundaes instead of cake, hot tubbing, pancake breakfast, and skate park fun!
I can't believe I have a ten year old.
