This past week the kids and I drove up to Reno to visit family. The drive doesn't bother me as much as it terrifies my family when they know that I am doing it without another adult. Aside from the kids only sleeping an hour on the way there and not at all on the way back...the drive was not so bad. Probably would be much better if I could install one of those limo drivers windows so that I wouldn't have to hear them argue, wrestle, fight, cry, or read as loud as possible above every other noise around them. In the three and a half days that we were there we managed to visit with my grandmother, my dad and his new fiance Beccy, my brother Brian and my sis-in-law Marissa and their two precious kids, my brother Paddy and my sis-in-law Sarah, my aunt Teri and her family, Michael's mom Karen, as well as his dad Tom and his wife Rhonda, and Michael's brother Russell and wife Vivian and their kids, went to the pumpkin patch, Sean's three year birthday party, and did one massage. Wheeew! Very productive couple of days. And to top off the week of course....Halloween... gotta love the sugar rush. Although there are those times when I want to resign as a mom, wife, daughter, sister, or friend..... the majority of the time as I look around and see kids playing in the leaves, or babies with great big smiles, or grandmas and grandpas, aunties and uncles loving on my kids, I just can't help but think.."man..I LOVE my life"!!

Jeffrey explains gameboy to Grandma Egan

Ellie rode a pony!

At Sean's bday party the kids played "musical foam squares" in their costumes

Sean was NOT happy when he lost

so during the next game he gave his square to mom so it wouldn't get stolen

We love auntie Sarah!

Uncle Brian jumped into the foam pit too!

Grandpa Pat and Beccy

The cheerleader and the mermaid....the army man was missing in action.
