Just another day

Same old story here: IT'S HOT. I am so very very thankful for our pool. Ellie and I have been swimming every day to try and cool off in the horrible temperatures outside. There is just something about the heat here that completely zaps all of my energy. I hate feeling lethargic. In the afternoon the kids get home from school...and we hang out for a bit...then it's back into the pool. I don't feel like I have very much to say lately. Life is just life...it keeps going. Not many exciting things going on here. We are very excited to go spend some time up at Donner Lake in a couple of weeks with grandpa Pat and my siblings. Although the lake will be a huge temperature shock...it will be nice to GET OUT of Vegas for a few days.

I am scared for three reasons: first, my son is completely growing up, second, he loves showing off, and third, he actually has a muscle.
