HE TOOK FIRST PLACE!!!
Jeffrey was so excited to enter the Red Bull BMX competition last weekend! I have to be honest...I kind of blew it off and considered it "not that important"...and if he missed it ...not the end of the world. I am so glad that he was so persistent in telling me how important it was to him...because it wasn't until the day of the competition that I realized and acknowledged it. My bad. He practiced for a couple weeks and entered and ended up taking home first place! He was so completely thrilled. He has become so passionate about his bike and EVERYTHING that goes along with it... riding, doing tricks, changing out parts etc.. He has proven how important it is to him. I decided that trying to put him in sports that he doesn't enjoy is a waste of time and money. I much rather support him in doing something that he not only loves and is passionate about ...but also good at! I am so proud of him.

These pictures are my favorite. And your boy is great. Tell him I have some awesomely fun manual labor for him to do if he's up for earning money for bike camp.
What a Stud. I'm so proud of him. And to think that it all started with his uncle Paddy showing him the Front-Stall-To-Faceplant in front of your house years ago. *tear*
