DONNER LAKE!!!

This is where we got to spend a few days! Donner Lake is about 35 minutes from Reno. Donner is where my family has spent many family vacations over the years. It has been about ten years since I have been on vacation there. My dad and his wife Becci rented a great house right on the lake with a dock. The kids had a BLAST on the boat and in the water. There were 13 of us! 8 adults and 5 kiddos. We missed having my sister Mo there...and are hoping and praying to make Donner Lake a yearly get away with my family and siblings! My friend Shontell drove up to the Donner Lake public beach one of the days with all of her kids and we met her there and got to hang out for awhile. The traffic was horrible and it took her 2 hours to drive up there...and she still did it! I was very thankful that we got to see her even though it was too short. My dad is the one who made it possible for us to take a few days and completely enjoy ourselves, one another, and the amazing view. We were truly blessed to go spend some time with my family.

Oh...did I mention that Marissa and I ALSO went tubing? together. until my dad went so fast that we flew off. We were convinced that we "still had it" like we did 10 years ago..(the last time we tubed...pre-baby weight) We gave everyone on the lake a good show.
